Starting a business in less than eight weeks was chaotic, stressful, and overwhelming. Taking over the old, run-down aquatic center has been challenging. The cost of starting the business and addressing decades of deferred maintenance & repairs has totaled > $50,000. When coupled with the high cost of day-to-day pool operations, we’re in a tight spot, especially in an expensive city like Santa Barbara.
