Class Descriptions & Schedule

Traditional Group Classes:

Wavemakers (Intermediate level)

Our most popular class, this total body workout delivers high intensity, low impact cardio & strength training in both shallow & deep water. Participants will be expected to wear a buoyancy belt or use buoyancy equipment for support in deep water. (Deep water exercise experience is recommended.)

  • Mon/Wed/Fri at 2pm

Aqua Boot Camp (Intermediate-advanced level)

Get ready to work hard, get wet, AND see results! Using a combination of interval training, circuits, and competitive games, participants will build lean muscle mass & improve cardiovascular fitness. Expect the unexpected in our most challenging group class!

  • Mon/Thurs at 5:30pm

  • Tues/Wed/Thurs at 7am

  • Tues & Thurs at 9am

Aqua HIIT (Intermediate-advanced level)

This innovative deep water class allows for maximal cardiovascular conditioning with minimal joint forces! Performing high intensity interval training in the pool enables participants to work out harder than on land… and with less joint pain & less muscle soreness afterwards! Deep water exercise experience is highly recommended.

Small Group Specialty Classes:

Aqua Yoga (all levels)

Traditional land-based asanas are modified for the pool, with a strong focus on connecting breath with movement. Classes consist of a guided warm-up, spinal mobility poses, and standing & balancing asanas using a variety of props. Each class ends with a floating mediation (Savasana). No previous yoga experience is necessary.

  • Wednesdays at 3pm

  • Saturdays at 8am

Aqua Fusion (All levels)

A unique blend of Yoga, Pilates, Barre, and stretching … with an optional floating Savasana for the ultimate relaxation. Perfect for clients who want to lengthen & strengthen in new ways! Modifiable for all levels; no previous yoga or pilates experience is required.

  • Mondays at 4pm

S'WET (Intermediate-advanced level)

S’WET is a shallow water only class that combines High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with plyometrics, strength sets, and unique resistance equipment for an energizing, fun, and results-driven workout. Water shoes are recommended. Bring a water bottle.

  • Alternating Wednesdays at 4pm

HIYO (Intermediate-advanced level)

HIYO is a shallow water only class combing HIgh intensity cardio segments with YOga inspired moves for recovery, capped off with an optional floating meditation or savasana. HIYO is guaranteed to torch calories while reducing stress and promoting relaxation. Water shoes are recommended. Bring a water bottle.

Specialty Programs:

BALANCE & BEYOND (beginner-intermediate level)

Worried about falls? This 5-week class series will address the many components of balance, including (but not limited to) lower body strengthening, core strengthening, vestibular training, balance reactions/strategies, agility, and coordination. Students will learn activities to practice on their own, both at the pool and at home, and pre- & post-testing will be used to measure progress.

  • Wednesdays, 10-10:50am * OCTOBER SESSION IS FULL

SUP FIT (all levels)

Cardio, strength, balance & more! Clients will be on & off the Aqua Body Strong floating fitness boards, using a combination of bodyweight exercises, resistance equipment, and pool toys. Get ready to make a splash!

  • By appointment only; groups of 2-3.

FLOAT & FLOW (intermediate - advanced level)

Take your yoga class above the water with this new paddleboard-style class. Most asanas are performed in sitting, lying, or table top (all 4s), but don’t let the simplicity of these poses fool you… even experienced yogis should be ready to challenge their strength & stability in new ways!
